It is a beautiful program for those who are in need of assistance. Many Americans, not using American Assistance yet, wonder how exactly does the free cell phone program work and how can I obtain a free cell phone with free service? It is essential to understand that, not everyone will qualify for this particular assistance program and eligibility will vary from state to state. Specific criteria will most likely qualify you for the program. One of those criteria is if you are receiving one of the various government programs such as Social Security, food stamps, section eight housing, home energy assistance, free or reduced lunch programs. There are a variety of government programs out there that may automatically qualify an applicant. Second, your income and number of individuals living in your home will, for the most part, determine if you are an eligible applicant for one of American Assistance phones or smartphones.

Applicants should have a general idea as to if they will be eligible for a free cell phone and plan through American Assistance. There is a basic plan available that is completely free of charge. That plan does not require a contract, no money down, no purchase of any kind and most importantly no monthly bill. The service plan is rather basic but should suffice for those who need it more. It includes a free cell phone, free caller id, calls waiting, 3-way calling, voice mail and 250 minutes and 250 text messages per month. If the eligible applicants so choose, they may pay per month, between 6.99 and 12.99 as needed to upgrade their American Assistance plan to provide them with more minutes or additional text messages.

After determining if you may qualify, or if you have questions as to your eligibility you may contact American Assistance. You can also log onto their website http://www.americanassistance.com, and click sign up. From there you will be directed to an online application or given the option to download and print one out that you can then fax or mail into the program. If an applicant does not have access to a computer, there is also the toll-free number that you can call, 1.866.966.2628. From there you will be connected directly with a representative that will be able to help you apply for this free program and determine eligibility. It is important to remember that offers do vary by state, but if you are an American who is in need of some assistance, then reach out to this unique program from American Assistance and receive some government help.

You get a set number of minutes and texts and 6gb of data. They do not have the same quality as everyone else and the phones have bad antennas.
