I have had SafeLink Wireless for about 2 years now on the lifeline program. I brought my own phone which now is not compatible with their service and they expect somebody who has no money to purchase a new phone which is unrealistic and not part of what the lifeline program stands for./ Anthem healthkeepers Medicaid and Social Services they are supposed to provide a free phone along with the service regardless. I have had issues with messaging and voicemails. Sometimes you cannot receive messages and you have to reset the whole phone with them on the phone. The voicemails have never worked unless you actually call him your own number to get them. What is the point of having an emergency Lifeline phone when it does not work. The representatives are very unknowledgeable and very uncompassionate and not friendly and the least bit. It is sad when you have to have a Lifeline phone because you cannot afford anything else. I'm not asking for some brand-new great Samsung or Apple phone just a phone that works with the service. They said I was ineligible because I brought my phone which makes no sense. Since they changed and upgraded service they should be upgrading people's phones as well who need the service. If I could afford a new phone I wouldn't need to have lifeline. I would advise everybody to go elsewhere. I think I'm going to switch back to Assurance which was way better and the customer service there was Superior. This company is uncompassionate and do not care about their customers. My insurance and Social Services both said they have to give me a new phone. At this point I don't even want to deal with them anymore I will go elsewhere. Ever since I got this new number they gave me I've been getting all of these spam calls and text messages that are inappropriate. I got this phone for a reason because my ex-husband was abusive and I'm in the Protection Program. I don't think they have any compassion for actual people who are in need.

I've had Tracfone and then Safelink for years, and it has been a challenge .. especially this past year. I'm disabled and can't be without a working phone. I am fed up with them and their supposed "customer service".
